Finalizing a Pay Period

To finalize a Pay Period

  1. Click View > Pay Periods from the menu bar. The Pay Periods screen opens.
  2. From the Pay Periods Search panel, enter your search criteria, and then click Search. The pay periods that match your search criteria appear in the Search Results pane.
  3. From the Search Results pane, double-click on the pay period you want to work on. The Pay Period Form screen opens.
  1. Click Finalize Pay Period from the toolbar. The Finalize Pay Period Confirmation screen opens.
  2. Click Yes. The pay period status is changed to Finalized.
  1. Click File > Close from the toolbar. The Pay Period window closes.

Note: The Pay Period Form can be viewed from the mini-toolbar on any of the Paysheets. Alternately, click the No button to return to the Pay Period Form.
